Getting started

We will book your welcome package of private sessions after confirming that we have weekly Standing Appointments available for you to move into our regular schedule.

We offer Standing Appointments for you to attend our program 2-3 times a week. These reserved appointments guarantee you a spot in our program, however you are welcome to reschedule to alternative times when needed.

View our equipment schedule here.

Cancellations

Cancellation Policy
We require 24-hours notice for all cancellations. Full fees will be charged for any appointments or reserved classes that are cancelled or missed, for any reason, with less than 24-hours notice from the appointed start time. This policy is necessary due to scheduling demands and is strictly applied.

If a late cancellation is due to the sudden onset of symptoms of an illness that could be transmissible, you will have the option to request a late cancellation waiver for a reduced fee ($10 for group sessions, $25 for private sessions). You will then retain the session, to be used prior to the original expiry date. Please request this option when making your cancellation so we can adjust your account. We appreciate your honesty and support in following this policy.

Rescheduling missed or cancelled sessions

Group sessions that have been cancelled with 24 hours notice can be made up with an alternate appointment at a later date, space permitting, within the expiry period.

We also provide same-day privileges to reschedule your session or to attend a class, space permitting, on the same day only.

Make-ups

Monthly installments

Any unused sessions purchased in a monthly installment become make-ups at the end of that installment period. All makeups have a 3 month expiry. After current monthly installment sessions are used, make-ups will then be available, subject to their expiry period.

While you are attending the equipment program, make-ups can be used for:

  • Additional group sessions within the expiry period (i.e. if you usually pay for 8 sessions a month, you can use a make-up for a 9th session)

  • classes (including single classes within a series, space permitting)

  • Discounts on private sessions

Semi-annual installments

Any unused sessions purchased in a semi-annual installment become make-ups at the end of that installment period. All makeups have a 6 month expiry. After current sem-annual installment sessions are used, make-ups will then be available, subject to their expiry period.

While you are attending the equipment program, make-ups can be used for:

  • Additional group sessions within the expiry period (your current installment sessions will be used first, then any available make-ups)

  • classes (including single classes within a series, space permitting)

  • Discounts on private sessions

Please contact us for booking and rescheduling via email or phone.

Pausing your membership

If you are going to be away for less than 2 weeks, we will reserve your Standing Appointments free of charge and your VPC membership will remain active. If you are away for two or more consecutive sessions in a month, you have the option to:

  • purchase a monthly installment and make up any missed sessions or use them for other make-up opportunities, or

  • purchase single sessions (at a higher rate) in lieu of your regular monthly installment

Please alert us prior to the next billing date whenever possible if you are going to be away.

If you are going to be away for two or more consecutive weeks, please contact us to discuss your options for pausing your membership.

FAQs

Can I attend the equipment program only 1 time a week?

You will achieve the most benefit with the continuity of attending 2-3 sessions per week. Appointments in our personal equipment schedule are reserved for those who can attend a minimum of 2 sessions per week. If you are not able to attend a minimum of 2 times per week, ask us about our class and series options.

Can I attend other therapies while attending Pilates?

We recommend that you avoid scheduling your Pilates sessions on the same day as treatments such as massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic care, etc. If that is not possible, try to schedule your treatment after your Pilates session.

What if I am injured?

Please call ahead to discuss the best option for continuing your program. As long as your health professional has cleared you for physical activity, we encourage you to attend.  If you arrive with an injury, but still feel able to proceed, please alert our teaching staff before you begin your workout so we can recommend program modifications.
