At Vancouver Pilates Centre, we offer a uniquely personalized equipment program for you to train your body in Pilates! Below are a few of our frequently asked questions about our program:

How do I book appointments?

We offer standing appointments for you to attend 2-3 times a week. We book reserved appointments to guarantee you a spot in the program, however you are welcome to reschedule to alternative times when needed. Please contact us for booking and reschedule via email or phone. View our rates for monthly installments here.

What if your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations. Full fees will be charged for any appointments that are cancelled for any reason with less than 24 hours’ notice from the appointed start time. This policy is due to scheduling demands and is strictly applied. We accept email, phone and voicemail cancellations.

What if I cancel without 24 hours notice?

Full fees will be charged for any appointments that are cancelled for any reason with less than 24 hours’ notice from the appointed start time. However we provide the option to reschedule within the same day only or use your session to attend a virtual class on the same day only.

What are makeups and how do I use them?

Makeups are appointments that have been cancelled within 24 hours notice. You have the option of using them right away to be rescheduled within the same month. Otherwise they can be used for virtual classes, discounts on private sessions or as additional sessions to your next monthly installment. Makeups have a 3 month expiry date.

What if I am away for part of the month?

Please alert us prior to the start of the month if you are going to be away so that we can adjust your payment plan. You are still welcome to purchase a monthly installment and reschedule your appointments that you are not be able to attend or use them for other makeup opportunities. 


If you are away for 2 or more consecutive appointments you also have the option to purchase "single sessions" at a higher rate per session.  We will continue to hold your standing appointment times up to 2 weeks.

What if I am away for an extended period of time?

For absences of of more than 2 weeks you have the option of leaving a $50 deposit to:

  • Hold your Standing Appointments                             (up to 6 weeks) 

  • Resume your membership level upon return          (up to 6 -12 months) 

Can I attend other therapies while attending Pilates?

We recommend that you avoid scheduling your Pilates sessions on the same day as treatments such as massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic care, etc. If that is not possible, try to schedule your treatment after your Pilates session.

What if I am sick?

Please cancel with as much notice as possible, especially if your illness is contagious. 24 hour cancellation policy applies.   

What if I am injured?

Please call ahead to discuss the best option.  As long as your health professional has cleared you for physical activity, we encourage you to attend.  If you arrive with an injury, please alert our teaching staff before you begin your workout so we can recommend program modifications.
