What is ELDOA?
ELDOA is an acronym for the revolutionary technique developed by French osteopath Guy Voyer – and is most easily translated as “Longitudinal Osteo-Articular Decoaptation of the Spine”.
ELDOAs are a series of specific movements designed to wind fascial chains in the body, creating tension on either side of a joint, and then elongating the movement to decompress the joint space. Regular practice will promote strengthening and normalizing of the muscles and connective tissue along the spine and throughout the body.

There are also several joints in the shoulder assisting your daily movements of lifting, typing, reaching and more! Learn how to improve mobility in your shoulders and ease in breathing by opening the space in your body with these ELDOA postures.
ELDOA Workshop: Lumbar Spine

Low back pain affects millions of people and often has no specific diagnosis. The original inspiration for creating the ELDOA postures was to help eradicate back pain. This workshop will look at how a combination of strengthening and lengthening your body will help keep your back healthy!
ELDOA Workshop: Hips & Pelvis

It is often said now that “sitting is the new smoking.” Long periods spent sitting at a desk and in front of a computer can create a myriad of challenges for our hips and pelvis. Learning the ELDOA postures for the hip and pelvis can be a highly effective remedy to address the stress of a sedentary lifestyle. These specific ELDOA will also improve mobility and performance for sports and all physical activities.
