Our classes provide a portable alternative to a Pilates equipment program, requiring only a mat and/or towel for home practice.  We offer several different classes in a small group setting.

You’ll be amazed at how these enhanced Pilates classes challenges your body in new and exciting ways. We ensure that your Pilates experience is both safe and effective. It will change how you move and the way you think about your body.

Discover Pilates

The Discover Pilates series introduces exercises from the Pilates Mat and Pilates Towel™ repertoire – portable pilates program requiring no resistance equipment (mats and towels are provided for studio use). Prepare for advancement into Basic Mat, Basic Towel, or Basic Mat/Towel and beyond. Discover Pilates features eight 1-hour classes scheduled over a 4-week period.

Pilates Mat

We offer Pilates Mat classes (basic to advanced level). Explore the original Pilates Mat exercises for a work out that’s both portable and challenging (mats provided).

Pilates Towel™

It’s more than Pilates – it’s Pilates standing up!

We are B.C.’s only studio offering this evolution of Pilates-inspired repertoire, initially created by Ron Fletcher. Basic Pilates principles are combined with the addition of percussive breathing and towel work for the upper body. Experience a more challenging Pilates workout.

Pilates Mat/Towel™

Combine the original Pilates Mat exercises with our unique Pilates Towel™ work…add progressive movement sequences on the floor, standing and moving through space to give you the ultimate portable workout.

Pilates Pole Walking™

Learn the urban poling method for fitness with the Pilates advantage!

Also called Nordic walking, or pole walking, this activity has proven benefits for whole body health. Ergonomically designed poles provide cushioning while propelling you forward, combining the aerobic and strength conditioning of cross country skiing with walking. This provides effective and efficient exercise, without joint stress associated with activities such as running.

PLUS…discover the Pilates advantage with an additional warm-up and cool down that can be included in your regular walks. Each session includes exercises designed to improve your breathing, core support and gait mechanics. Early correction of alignment and co-ordination issues greatly enhances the benefit and enjoyment of Pilates Pole Walking™ for fitness.

Regular practice of Pilates Pole Walking will:

  • enhance heart health
  • promote bone density
  • improve posture
